Strategic Relationships Manager: Closing date: 17th September
A key focus for this role will be the ability to influence the development of the Leicester and Leicestershire Local Industrial Strategy and the Leicester and Leicestershire Growth and Infra-Structure Plan from a health, wellbeing, physical activity and sport perspective. Seeking to change how strategy is grounded locally to meet the key strategic challenges.
Assistant Sports Development Officer: Closing date: 23rd September
This position will support the delivery of specific projects, programmes and initiative helping to ensure that they are delivered on time and on budget. Examples only – this is not a definitive list: Active Schools, Early Years, Satellite Clubs, Physical Activity Intervention Programmes, School Sport Competition Programmes, Workplace Health.
Sport Facilities Development Officer: Closing date: 24th September
We are looking for an individual who has a passion and an understanding about sports & physical activity facility/open/informal spaces development and the role they play in increasing regular participation in sport/physical activity. Including responsibility for supporting Districts/Localities to deliver against their Local Facility Development Plans and providing advice on facilities/open/informal space development
Shortly we will also be recruiting for a Workforce Development Officer - keep you eye out for that!
Are you involved in a club, group or organisation delivering sport and physical activity?
We would like to identify how we can best support our local clubs, groups and organisations and to do so we need to understand what your development needs might be, the challenges you face and how we can best support you with these.
As a sign of our appreciation for completing the audit, you have the option to be entered into a FREE prize draw with a chance to win a £50 Love2Shop voucher, for your Club to spend at stores such as DW Sports Stores, Foot Locker, Cycle Republic, American Golf, Go Outdoors and more.

Clubs, self employed coaches/trainers, sports/fitness facilities all count as sports businesses. You may also know businesses manufacturing, selling/renting out sporting products.
We have launched a new FREE network and single point of access for Leicester and Leicestershire based businesses in the sports sector to access support to grow and develop. What's more, by growing and developing your business you will be supporting the economy to grow as well.
