Mandatory "School Keep Clear" Markings

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (THE DISTRICT OF NORTH WEST LEICESTERSHIRE) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2017(VARIOUS ROADS IN NORTH WEST LEICESTERSHIRE) (AMENDMENT 19) ORDER 201

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:

1. To impose a Mandatory School Keep Clear Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm on part of Willowbrook Close, Ashby de la Zouch, Grange Drive, Castle Donington, Convent Drive, Coalville, Ashburton Road, Hugglescote, High Street, Kegworth, School Lane Newton Burgoland and Main Street, Snarestone

A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of North West Leicestershire District Council, Whitwick Road, Coalville, LE67 3FJ, 5 1BQ, and Ashby Town Council, Legion House, South Street, Ashby de la Zouch LE65 1BQ and on the notice boards of the various Parish Councils. Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 14th June 2019, quoting reference JM/HTWMT4301.
