SCHOOL CROSSING PATROL VACANCY, KEGWORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL

Location Duty Times

Outside of school gates 08:30-09:05 & 15:00-15:35

Are you a parent or carer who currently escorts your child/children to and from school each day? Have you ever considered that by dedicating around 35-40 minutes of your time twice a day, you could help to make the routes to and from school safer for our school children by helping them to cross the road, and be paid whilst doing this?

There is currently a vacancy for a school crossing patrol around your School and the Road Safety Education team urgently requires your help to fill this post. We offer the following:

  • £8.50 per hour (subject to annual increment)
  • Full Training provided
  • Summer and winter uniform provided
  • Pay throughout the year

Leicestershire County Council relies on the local community to come forward and we are now appealing directly for someone who is reliable and conscientious, who would be prepared to take on this rewarding role. You will need to be willing to have a medical and must complete a Disclosure & Barring Service form to authorise a Police check.

If you think you may be interested in filling this vacancy and would like some further information, please contact the School Crossing Patrol Service on the telephone number at the bottom of this page.

Please note that if nobody comes forward there will be no School Crossing Patrol and the site will be uncovered so please take extra care when crossing.
