Another Successful Christmas in the Market Place!

Kegworth Parish Council would like to say a very BIG thank you to all those that were involved with the success of Christmas in the Market Place on Sunday 3rd December 2017.

The organisers prepared the Market Place from 6am onwards and a team of volunteers helped ensure the space was ready to accept the stall holders and rides. Thank you to the University of Nottingham students who I am told worked really hard to help stall holders load and unload their goods.

Father Christmas was very popular with around 200 gifts given to children who queued patiently and the Church bells rang once the Christmas tree lights had been switched on.

Thank you to ONE Kegworth, the businesses, all the volunteers, University of Nottingham students and the stall holders for making this another fantastic afternoon.

Vicky Roe, Clerk to the Council
