On Saturday 25th February, Kegworth Villagers turned out in force to combat the aftermath of Storm Doris.
The Litter Pick, planned to coincide with the Great British Spring Clean and Student Volunteering week, brought volunteers from nearby University of Nottingham Sutton Bonington Campus, the Local Kegworth Co-op, members of Kegworth Plan Group and many villagers who really do care.

Be a local hero and join the Kegworth Litter Pick on Saturday 25th February 2017 from 10am until 12 noon.
Meet at the Parish Council offices. Picking sticks and bags will be provided. Please bring your own gloves.

Advance works for the M1 J23a-25 Smart Motorway scheme will begin on 20 February 2017. These advance works include vegetation and tree clearance between junction 23a and 25. Vegetation removed as part of the enabling works is to facilitate the new infrastructure. Additional planting is planned throughout the scheme.
