Macmillan Coffee Morning

ONE Kegworth and Kegworth Parish Council are teaming up to host this year's "Have Your Cake and Eat It" Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Please come along to the Parish Council Offices on Thursday 28 September from 10 am to 1 pm and help to raise funds for Cancer support.

ONE Kegworth has today presented Kegworth Village Association and Museum with a cheque for £350, from the proceeds of the stallholder fees from the recent ONE Kegworth Family Fun Day and Food Festival. HS2 Update

Following the Government's recent announcement on the route for the next phase of HS2: Crewe to Manchester and the West Midlands to Leeds, construction of Phase 2b is expected to start in 2023 ready for the railway to begin operations by 2033. To obtain the legal powers to build and operate this part of the railway, the Government intends to deposit a hybrid Bill in Parliament during 2019.

Thank you to our Sideley Planting Volunteers

A big thank you to our merry band of nine volunteers for completing the planting of the borders around the welcome and performance areas on Sideley Park this afternoon; they all worked very hard in very warm conditions and we are sure you will agree the borders look fantastic!

Can you help?

Preparation of some borders on the park will soon be complete and they will then require planting - there are 264 plants coming.

If you can spare an afternoon on Thursday 13 July, from midday onwards, then bring your tools down to Sideley Park - the more the merrier!
