Proposed Traffic Regulation Order - Hoyte Drive, Kegworth

Leicestershire County Council proposes to make the following order:

On behalf of Bellway Homes it is necessary to impose a No Waiting At Any Time restriction along Hoyte Drive. The restriction shall ensure safe egress from the beverage factory, surrounding junctions and restrict heavy good vehicles from parking along Hoyte Drive. The Buckingham Group Support Christmas in the Market Place

The Buckingham Group Support Christmas in the Market Place

Completion of the bypass is still on schedule despite The Buckingham Group supporting Christmas in the Market Place with a number of volunteers helping to erect and take down the marquee.

A generous donation of £1000 was made to the Parish Council by the East Midlands Gateway developers and The Buckingham Group which funds were spent on the Christmas installations. This means that the Parish Council now owns all the lights you see.. Read More »

Kegworth Conservation Area

A conservation area is defined as an area of "special architectural and historic interest, the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance". NWLDC have identified a potential conservation area at Kegworth.

Another Successful Christmas in the Market Place!

Kegworth Parish Council would like to say a very BIG thank you to all those that were involved with the success of Christmas in the Market Place on Sunday 3rd December 2017.

Cycle Challenge ending at Christmas Market Event

Nigel Taylor has contacted the Parish Council to advise that he has recently returned from Sierra Leone and will be going back in January. He says on August 14th a Mudslide killed over 1000 people and a charity called Street Child UK were soon on the scenes dealing with the aftermath. They are organising a 300km bike ride between Sierra Leone and Liberia with all monies raised, which the UK Government will match, will provide on going support.. Read More »

Christmas in the Market Place on Sunday 3rd December, 2-6pm

Come along and join in to celebrate Christmas in the Market Place on Sunday 3rd December from 2pm to 6pm. There will be stalls, food and drink and Santa will be in his grotto!

The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 4.45pm.
