Heritage Centre EGM

Fri, 23 Mar 2018 19:00

URGENT NOTICE. Kegworth Heritage Centre is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Friday 23rd March at 7pm, at its premises at 52 High Street.

After the recent AGM, they only have two committee members. Under their constitution and the rules of the Charity Commission, this is not sufficient in order to be able to continue.

The positives taken from the AGM are that there is interest from new volunteers and the Centre already has ambitious plans. They just need people to help put them into place. At the EGM, they hope to vote on new committee members, hopefully reaching the minimum of 5.

If you have any spare time at all, no matter how small to help volunteer in any way, and if you have an interest in preventing the Heritage Centre from closing down permanently, then please go along.
